The Mentally Tough Teacher Challenge
A weekly challenge to maximize your potential in teaching and life!
Teaching is one of the most challenging professions in the world. Burnout and attrition rates reflect the physical, mental, and emotional demands that come with being an educator.
I've been there. I was a burned out teacher. I showed up every day feeling beaten down, depressed, and jaded by the profession that I felt was my calling. I loved the kids and enjoyed the impact I believed that I could make, but quickly wore down from the hundreds of demands that robbed my energy, health, and happiness.
Knowing there had to be a way to beat that feeling, I researched and studied burnout, even writing a Ph.D. dissertation on it. My studies led me to mindset and I dedicated my resources to strengthening my mindset. The more I poured into mindset training, the more capable, happy, and driven I felt. I overcame burnout and have found incredible joy in my teaching career and much better balance in my life.
This course is designed to take teachers through the mindset training program that has helped thousands of people to maximize their potential and overcome the many mental barriers to their success. Each week, you will receive new content focused on a different aspect of your mindset. The weekly tasks will challenge you to grow, improve, and reflect on your mindset with practical approaches to impact your classroom. You'll even get weekly lesson plan ideas to help you implement mindset/SEL skills into your curriculum!
